Build it clean.

  1. 01

    Setup

Stay balanced in stance with the rear heel light, elbows close, and lead glove protecting your cheek.

  2. 02

    Strike

Pivot on the rear foot, turn the hip and shoulder, and drive the rear fist straight while the lead hand stays home.

  3. 03

    Return

Pull the fist back on its line and unwind only far enough to regain your stance and guard.

Coaching and safety

Coach Cue

Foot, hip, fist.

Common Mistake

Arm-punching without the rear-foot pivot, or over-rotating until your stance collapses.

Safety First

Build speed gradually and keep a soft elbow at full reach rather than forcing the joint straight.
