Three-phase movement

Build it clean.

  1. 01

    Setup

Establish long range, step the lead foot outside the target line, and keep your posture tall and guarded.

  2. 02

    Strike

Pivot the support foot deeply and turn the hip so the rear shin rises on a round path to the high pad line.

  3. 03

    Return

Re-bend the leg, lower it under control, and reset your feet before adding another movement.

Coaching and safety

Coach Cue

Earn the height with the pivot.

Common Mistake

Forcing the leg higher than you can control while the support foot and hip stop turning.

Safety First

Train only at a comfortable height with clear space; use a held pad for contact and never force the range.
